Las Vegas, NV 89109 The expansion of the Riviera Hotel & Casino’s Convention Center brings the total meeting space to more than 150,000 square feet. The addition doubled the size of the hotel’s meeting facilities. This new $20 million construction project parallels an additional $50 million investment to totally refurbish the Riviera’s 2,100 guest rooms and suites, casino, retail shops and other public space. The new facility was completed in two phases, Phase I, which totaled 52,000 square feet, features a 44,640-square-foot ballroom and six conference rooms offering 6,000 square feet of well-designed meeting space. The new convention/entertainment facility has a total theater seating capacity of 5,000 and can accommodate up to 2,800 for banquets. Other features include a portable stage, ceiling tech booth, direct street level access for trade shows, and a 135-space underground parking facility with direct elevator access, and hi-tech skyboxes.
